When two of Nike’s greatest forces collide, fireworks are sure to follow. In what may be one of the most anticipated SB Dunks in quite a while, Nike SB takes inspiration from a Jordan Brand icon to create the Air Jordan XI “Space Jam” themed Dunk Low Pro. One of the most iconic basketball shoes of all time makes its mark on the classic silhouette of this popular and highly coveted skate shoe. Translating a high top basketball shoe onto a low top skate shoe is no easy task but this Dunk Low makes great use of design cues from the XI and definitely captures the essence of one of the most beloved Jordans of all time. Black patent leather works the overlays on the upper and wraps over the entire toe box. The glossy leather also makes up the Swoosh and heel tab. Set behind the patent leather is the familiar tight mesh paneling along the sides and collar. Hits of bright Royal Blue on the heel branding and tongue label are reminiscent of the Jumpman logo on the XI. Many of the details are here right down to the black round cord laces which add a great final touch. And finally, sitting below the all white midsole, this homage to the Space Jam would not be complete without a super icy sole to finish off the look. Already creating a ton of buzz, this Dunk Low will surely be a must cop for many sneakerheads around the world.
