Inspired by sport and Nike’s elite performers, Nike Sportswear’s Fall/Holiday 2010 collection looks at Nike’s esteemed history in Running for inspiration. From the early innovation of Bowerman, to the Athletics West program of the late 70’s, Nike’s design team doesn’t just look back at the amazing archives of products, philosophies and stories, but looks to continue to innovate for athletes today.
This season, Liu modeled for the Nike Sportswear’s Holiday 2010 collection with Destroyer Jacket, AW77 Jacket and a few different NSW styles. To Liu, the Nike Sportswear 2010 Holiday collection is a very casual and relaxing collection designed for people who want to chill and relax. It is very relaxing and comfortable to wear. The hoodies from the collection are classic and youthful yet practical, in which Liu liked most. “We will only wear hoodies during exercise when it is raining or windy, but the hoodies will be catching the wind if we are wearing it during trainings.”

Nike多年來與劉翔的緊密合作，建立了深厚穩固的關係。這種關係不只限於賽場上或訓練中，也見於劉翔的生活點滴。今季Nike特別邀請劉翔為Nike Sportswear 2010 Holiday系列拍攝全新一輯平面廣告，以生活的角度去認識運動場外多面的劉翔。
Nike Sportswear 2010 Holiday系列靈感源自運動及Nike的精英運動員，在Nike備受推崇的跑步歷史中尋找創作靈感。由最早期Bowerman的創新設計到七十年代後期的Athletics West企劃，Nike的設計團隊不僅回顧了歷年來驚人的產品檔案、哲學及故事，更為今時今日的運動員不斷創新。
劉翔於這一輯平面照中分別演繹了Destroyer Jacket、AW77 Jacket及NSW系列多個不同造型。劉翔表示：「我覺得Nike Sportswear 2010 Holiday系列是很休閒的，好像NSW系列就很適合想休閒的人，適合放鬆的心態，穿上感覺很舒服。我尤其喜歡有帽的上衣，因為比較經典及年輕化，又不乏功能性。像我們在運動的時候，只有刮很大的風或者下雨我們才會穿帽衣，但如果訓練的話有個帽子在後面，會兜風。」
劉翔享受生活的豐富人生
每個人都說劉翔是運動員，然而除此之外的劉翔，生活也是很豐富的。
「我覺得每個人都有很多面的，除了賽場上的一面，有生活的一面，還有比較童趣的一面。包括我自己，我感覺當然主要還是賽場或者說是訓練當中，作為一個運動員的一面。但是我覺得我還是有很多面的，和家人的一面，和朋友的一面，或者還有和孩子嬉戲的一面，或者去旅遊，去寫寫東西，放鬆放鬆，放鬆一下去吃吃飯，唱唱歌，我覺得人是可以有很多面的。」
「一個人不管做什麼，都要享受生活，懂生活才瞭解自己想要什麼，一定要去知道除了你的工作還有很多快樂的事情。除了訓練之外，我最喜歡享受美食。可能和我的生肖有關，我屬豬，就比較喜歡吃。我喜歡清淡一點的口味，然後那種原生態的口感，我喜歡日本菜的魚生，比生的東西更鮮美一些。中國菜中，我比較喜歡粵菜。粵菜比上海菜好，較清淡些。」
