[...] The Air Jordan Retro XII (12) in black and red earns its “Flu Game” moniker thanks to MJ’s inspirational NBA playoff performance in 1997 against the Jazz as he dropped 38 points under less than ideal circumstances battling the flu. The retro carries the same familiar color-blocking that made the shoe such a stand-out of the era alongside some tributes to MJ’s 38 point feat such as the touches on the heel and tongue. Available now at Kix-Files. [...]

[...] The Air Jordan 12 (XII) Black/Red now titled “Flu Game” has gotten it’s name from Michael Jordan, as he played against the Jazz in 1997 and put up 38 points while he had the flu. The sneaker contains a dominant black upper, along with dark red which is found on the sole and mid-sole. Also found on these kicks are the numbers 97, the year Jordan played against Jazz, and 38, which is the amount of points he scored against them. Overall another Jordan Brand sneaker which will most likely sell out. Available now at Kix-Files. [...]

I bought these back when they first came out for $240, I wore them 4 times and never again... The soles on the outside of the shoe (the bottom) were so stiff and hard it was very hard to move laterally for a slashing guard like myself. The shoe would be fine for a Center however, someone who just runs up and down the court and doesnt move sideways much. Still love the design of the shoe though
