Nike Dunk High Premium SB “Brain Wreck” by Todd Bratrud

Possibly the best Dunk SB High for the year at the moment is the “Brain Wreck” quickstrike designed by the Minnesota-based skate artist Todd Bratrud. The “Brain Wreck” edition is the third Dunk SB High created by Todd after releasing the “Send Help” in 2006 and brown/pink/blue highs in last Fall.

Thanks to Todd and Nike SB made some changes over the sample pair to complete this excellent concept and design. The grey suede upper remains, however the white Nike Swoosh seen on the samples has been replaced with a tonal grey leather Swoosh. You may also remember how the toe-box on the samples was white. Well, its pink now, to match the pink tongue. The final difference is the outsole. It was pink on the samples and as you can see its now black. The Brain Wreck branding on the heel of the sneakers remains as seen in the samples. Anyway, the retail version is far better than it used to be. Must cop item for the year.
