Originally released in 1989 as the Air Max II, the Air Max Light was intended as a successor to the Air Max family. It weighed less than than the Air Max 1, achieved by replacing the forefoot polyurethane midsole with one made from phylon. In this season, the Air Max Light continues to release in some new colourways. This particular new release features a mixture of white mesh and leather upper and washed/cracked leather mudguard.
