Mighty Crown x Nike Sportswear Dynasty High Premium

Not sure if you still remember the Mighty Crown Dunk High and Court Force Low released 3 years ago in 2006. Today, Mighty Crown, the first Japanese sound to get a World Clash trophy, unveiled their new collaboration project with Nike Sportswear.

First introduced as a basketball shoe in 1981, the Nike Dynasty High is making a return next year as part of the Spring 2010 collection. But before the general release, we may see them before the year end. The Mighty Crown edition is specially made up for the 15th Anniversary of Mighty Crown Yokohama Reggae Festival.

The shoe features a black premium leather upper with red and gold accents. Python textured leather is used around the toe cap and crown pattern is featured on the side panel. Similar to the Nike Sportswear Rock Pack, the shoe also comes with studded strap. Look along the strap I’m sure you will be attracted by the metallic gold lining. In addition, the tongue is done with a ultra long tag with double crown images on it. Move to the bottom part of the shoe you may spot the cracked prints mid-sole.
This model will only be produced in limited quantity, stay tuned for more information.
Thanks to Mighty Crown and US11 for the news.

[...] Nike Sportswear will collaborate once again with Japanese music group, Mighty Crown, on this Dynasty High Premium. The reason for the collaboration was to celebrate the retro of the Dynasty High by Nike Sportswear in addition to the 15th Anniversary of the Mighty Crown Yokohama Reggae Festival. The shoe itself features the use of a premium Black leather with hints of Red and Gold. The strap on the shoe comes studded out, similar to what we’ve seen in the past from Nike Sportswear with their Rock & Roll Pack. The tongue of the shoe is perhaps the most interesting as it is double the length of a normal tongue and features a double crown graphic on it. There are a lot more details that you’ll find on this pair of kicks once you pick them up, which should be in a few months, as they’ll be available at a select number of retailers worldwide. via Kix-Files [...]
