Jordan 60+ is a shoe that combines some of the finest materials used on previous Jordan sneakers. The Jordan 60+ was produced to signify Michael Jordans 60+point achievements during his NBA career. These remarkable achievements came during 5 different games, where Jordan was sporting his signature sneaker line created by Nike. The Chicago Bulls were pitted against a very tough Boston Celtics team during the NBA playoffs. MJ sporting a pair of Nike Air Jordan 1, helped score 63 points, but that wasn’t enough to beat the Boston Celtics. Jordan Brand designers used the Jordan 1 logo on the tongue of the Jordan 60+ to represent. That wasn’t the last of Jordan’s 60+ runs in 1987 which was a very special season for Michael Jordan, one month after scoring 61 points against the Dominique Wilkins and the Atlanta Hawks. On March 28th, 1990 – Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls went head on with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Michael Jordan scored a record high 69 points to help beat the Cavs. This game is represented by the heavily dominated use of Jordan 5 elements on the Air Jordan 60+. Many signature design elements from the Jordan 5 are relevant on the tongue and sole of the Air Jordan 60+. Michael Jordan didn’t stop there – in 1993 Jordan helped score 64 points against the Orlando Magic. Jordan was a seasoned veteran, going heads up against rookie Shaquille O’neil. During this game Jordan was sporting a fresh pair of Jordan 7. Design aspects of the Jordan 7 were also taken into consideration when the Jordan Brand created the Air Jordan 60+, some of the design elements include the cuts the Jordan 7 maintains.
