Playing against the Miami Heat last Friday, the Zoom Kobe VI that Kobe Bryant worn for is inspired by the Venom character from Spider-Man 3 and Kobe’s desire for the shoe to feel like a “second skin” as he puts it. The black/gold/purple colorway incorporates a web graphic along the upper, as well as a gradient fade along the toe cap, which is a foreshadowing theme you’ll be seeing throughout All-Star Weekend from Nike Basketball.
The special debut edition “Venom” was sold at Footlocker in Miami and House of Hoops in L.A. last Friday which retails for $120, only limited to 24 pairs per store.
