Upper Playground in association with FIFTY24SF Gallery is pleased to announce “Forevers”, featuring new paintings, photographs, and screen prints from Maya Hayuk, and “Half Assed”, a new series of paintings and illustrations from skateboard and graphic artist, Todd Bratrud.
Maya Hayuk has worked as a painter, muralist, photographer, printmaker, designer, curator, writer, performer, collector, Barnstormer, videographer, and documentary filmmaker. Hailing from New York City, her work with the Barnstormer collective brought her accolades as a prolific contemporary artist in both the urban and fine art world. Forevers will coincide with the release of her new 96-page hardcover book, Just Good Vibes.
One of the premier skateboard artists working today, Todd Bratrud’s fine art career has taken flight with colloborations and contributions with Flip Skateboards, Nike SB, Volcom, The Skateboard Mag, Burlesque Design of North America, and his own projects with Teenage Runanway.
